On your phone

Open a video in Beyond from Share.

Watching on YouTube? Share the video to Beyond. If someone has already made its page, it opens at once; pages are made on a computer with the Chrome extension, and more of them arrive every day.

Android

  1. Open openinbeyond.com in Chrome, tap ⋮ and choose Install app (or Add to Home screen).
  2. In the YouTube app, tap Share under a video and choose Beyond.
  3. Beyond opens the video’s page when there is one.

iPhone and iPad

  1. Open the Shortcuts app and tap + to make a new shortcut. Name it Open in Beyond.
  2. Tap ⓘ (or the settings icon), turn on Show in Share Sheet, and set it to receive URLs.
  3. Add the action Open URLs and type https://openinbeyond.com/share?url=, then add Shortcut Input right after it.
  4. In the YouTube app, tap Share → More (or ⋯) and choose Open in Beyond.

Tip: add Beyond to your Home Screen too — in Safari, tap Share → Add to Home Screen.

No page for the video yet? Open it on a computer in Chrome and press Open in Beyond under it; about a minute later the page is ready, on your phone too.
