Nathan For You: a Man Zone for shoppers' boyfriends
A store full of clothes, and one room for the men.
Key points
- Susan Kim's Burbank boutique, Elizabeth Albert, had seen sales dip, and the narrator's theory was that the shop had neglected the men in the couples who shop there. 0:00
- The narrator's core idea is that bored men push their partners out of a women's clothing store, so a space with a beer and a buddy should keep couples there longer and shopping more. 0:49
- The first guest left the Man Zone after only four minutes, and his couple left the shop moments later, so the first test failed. 3:05
- The second guest stayed in the Man Zone for 17 minutes after the narrator steered the conversation to sex, which the host credits with giving his girlfriend uninterrupted browsing time. 4:12
- The video's verdict is that the Man Zone gave men a place to relax, but it shows no sales figures, so whether the shop actually sold more is never established. 5:50
